This is a BRAND NEW Universal Adjustable Anti-Short Cycle Time Delay Relay. It is a Delay on Make relay, which means that whenever the power is turned on, the relay will time between .1 and 5 minutes before allowing voltage to pass through it (you set the time by turning the knob on the relay). This relay accepts 19-250 volt input (1 amp). Simply wire it in series with your circuit. For an air conditioner, you simply hook it in series with a thermostat wire at the condenser and your unit is protected from power surges.
